This policy sets out the principles and values to which the University's members — students, faculty, and researchers — are committed, along with violations and the resulting procedures.
1. Core Principles
- Honesty: truthfulness in all academic and research work.

2. Scope
This policy applies to all students, faculty members, and researchers at the University, and to all academic work, including exams, assignments, research, graduation projects, and scientific publishing.
3. Academic Violations
- Plagiarism: attributing the work or ideas of others to oneself without proper citation.
- Cheating in exams: in all its forms and means, including electronic means.
- Forgery and fabrication: falsifying documents, data, or research results.
- Improper quotation: quoting texts without properly documenting their sources.
- Unauthorized assistance: giving or receiving unauthorized help in individual work.
- Self-plagiarism: resubmitting previous work as new without permission.
4. Integrity in Research and Publishing
Researchers are committed to honesty in collecting and analyzing data and documenting sources, avoiding fabrication, misrepresentation, and duplicate publication, and disclosing any conflict of interest, in line with research ethics.
5. Procedures and Penalties
Measures proportionate to the type, severity, and recurrence of the violation are taken against the offender, in accordance with the regulations in force at the University and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. These range from a warning to the cancellation of the academic work or other disciplinary penalties, following due investigation by the competent committees.
6. Right of Appeal
Anyone subject to academic measures has the right to submit an appeal in accordance with the University's approved mechanisms, which is considered fairly and transparently.
7. Awareness and Prevention
The University is keen to promote a culture of academic integrity through awareness, guidance, and training students in proper documentation and honest citation.
