The Department of Quranic Sciences at the College of Education held a scientific seminar titled “Legislative and Rhetorical Miracles in the Holy Quran,” presented by Assistant Lecturer Azhar Mohsen.
The seminar explored the concept of legislative miracles, highlighting the precision, justice, and excellence of divine laws that organize human life. It also emphasized the Quran’s rhetorical miracles, showcasing its eloquence, clarity, and unique style. Various types of miracles were discussed, including numerical, scientific, rhetorical, prophetic, and legislative, along with the characteristics of Islamic legislation such as universality, flexibility, justice, and timelessness. The session concluded with examples from Quranic verses, like those on alcohol prohibition, inheritance, and retribution, illustrating the wisdom and societal benefit of divine legislation.
