Renewable Energy in Iraq: Prospects and Challenges

The Department of Oil and Gas Economics at the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, held a scientific seminar on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, titled: “Renewable Energy in Iraq: Prospects and Challenges.”
Assistant Professor Dr. Muhannad Ali Hussein delivered a lecture in which he discussed the current state of renewable energy in Iraq, highlighting the key opportunities for developing this important sector, as well as the challenges facing its adoption amid the growing need for energy sources.
The seminar was attended by a number of faculty members and students from the college.
