Amid the blessed atmosphere of Ramadan, the Department of Arabic Language, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit, held a scientific lecture titled “The Concept of Justice and Its Role in Protecting Human Rights,” delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Blasim Hassan Al-Khafaji, with the حضور of faculty members and students.
The lecture discussed justice as a fundamental human, ethical, and legal value essential for social stability. It emphasized that justice goes beyond law enforcement to include social and economic dimensions that safeguard human dignity and rights. It also highlighted that promoting justice strengthens equality, equal opportunities, and trust between individuals and institutions, contributing to societal progress. The lecture concluded by stressing the importance of spreading awareness of justice and human rights, especially in academic environments.
