Who Can Register

Graduates of the scientific branch (biological or applied sciences) from preparatory schools are eligible to apply to the Biomedical Equipment Technology Engineering Department.

In addition, graduates of related technical institutes may be accepted through the parallel education track or evening studies, in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

History

The Biomedical Equipment Technology Engineering Department was established within the Technical Engineering College – Imam Ja’afar Al-Sadiq University in response to the growing need in local and international markets for specialized technical personnel in the maintenance and operation of medical devices.

Since its inception, the department has been committed to staying up to date with technological advancements in the medical field by continuously updating its curriculum, providing modern laboratories, and developing students’ skills in accordance with the highest academic standards.
