The Assistant of the University's President for Administrative Affairs

Administrative structure:

The administrative structure of the assistant president of the University includes the administration of the office, in addition to a number of departments, including (legal, administrative and financial affairs, statistics, services affairs, and monitoring unit). These departments have major tasks that are the main motive of the University's activity and the management of its vital facilities.

 

Tasks and responsibilities:

The Assistant President of the University undertakes many of the main tasks that he acts directly and through the management of his own office, and these tasks are represented in the following activities and responsibilities:-

1- General supervision of all administrative, legal and financial works at the University.

2- Supervising employment applications, and issuing administrative orders for the appointment of teachers, staff and technicians in accordance with the laws and regulations in force.

3- Monitoring requests related to vacations and issue orders to do so.

4- Monitoring contracts and maintenance contracts between the University and contracting companies, and supervising the progress of projects at the University.

5- Monitoring the work of human resources, and provide assistance in all aspects of the administrative organization.

6- Monitoring the implementation of the various ministerial, university and administrative orders related to the activities and duties of the departments that are related to the administrative assistant.

In addition to a number of other tasks that he exercises under his legal powers.

The Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs looks forward to make the University a pioneering and distinguished scientific edifice among Iraqi universities and a tool for the prosperity of society, by accomplishing all the tasks that fall upon it at the highest level, in accordance with the best international standards in quality education and community service.

Mission:

The Administrative Assistant of the President of the University endeavors to carry out all the tasks assigned to him, preparing scientific and administrative outputs and directing all material, moral and administrative efforts for the purpose of providing a distinguished academic climate at the University that is an incentive for the desired activity and development, creating a climate for intellectual creativity and contributing to the preparation of future leaders in various fields.

1- Development and building of human, material and financial capacities.

2- Expanding relationships with success partners locally and internationally.

3- Support and assistance to University professors, employees, associates, and students.

4- Achieving a global level in the quality of programs and services provided within the University

5- Relying on advanced technology, especially information technology.
