Conditions and Regulations for Student Admission to Private Universities and Colleges:
 

First: Conditions and Principles for Applying to Morning Studies:

General Admission Requirements:

A. The Iraqi preparatory school certificate, or its equivalent, must be endorsed by the General Directorate of Education in the province, according to the admission requirements for each specialization.

B. Born in the year 1993 or later.

C. Students graduating from the academic year (2022-2023) compete for admission to Al-Amid University and Warith University / College of General Medicine, in addition to graduates from the previous academic year who obtained a GPA of 95% or above, with a quota of 10% of the admission plan for the university/college mentioned above, provided they do not enroll in the medical group colleges (Dentistry, Pharmacy) within the private government education and private education.

D. Graduates of vocational centers (Al-Mu'tasim Center, Al-Waleed Center, and Al-Mo'taz Center) whose study duration is three years and have passed the ministerial exam (Baccalaureate) exclusively apply to private universities and colleges according to the inputs specific to each department.

E. Pass the medical examination according to the specific conditions of each study, and blind students (who meet the conditions) have the right to apply for suitable humanities studies.

F. Students accepted in one of the private universities/colleges in previous years have the right to apply to another department within the same college according to the inputs and conditions of the application for the year (2022/2023), and if accepted, their university/college will issue an administrative order to change their department, and their original college must notify the ministry accordingly.

G. The student's registration will be canceled if accepted in another university/college or studying abroad, or upon employment after submitting a written request by the student within one working week from the date of application.

H. Students accepted in government universities/colleges have the right to apply for admission to private universities/colleges according to the electronic system and the principle of differentiation, based on the inputs and conditions of application for the year (2022-2023), and the student's file must be submitted by delivery and receipt minutes through authorized personnel within a period not exceeding 60 days from the date of issuing the admission order, otherwise, the university/college will bear the consequences.

I. The student whose registration is upgraded in one of the private universities/colleges has the right to reapply according to the electronic form and the principle of differentiation based on the inputs and conditions of application for the year (2022-2023)), provided that the student does not apply for admission to the same department in which his registration was upgraded.

J. Private universities/colleges are not allowed to collect any fees or what is called insurance from the student before his acceptance to the university/college appears, nor is it permissible to collect any other amounts during the period of the student's acceptance and registration on the electronic system.

K. Ministers, those with equivalent ranks, members of parliament, those with special ranks, and members of provincial councils are not allowed to apply for admission to morning studies.

L. Students in the Kurdistan Region from graduates of the preparatory school (recognized by the Ministry of Education) can apply for admission to private universities and colleges.

M. After accepting students, a university order for universities and administrative orders for colleges are issued, including the names of the accepted students, and then submitted to the ministry after being presented to the college council for approval.

N. The data of the accepted students in private universities and colleges for the academic year (2022-2023) are verified with the Private Higher Education Department according to the frameworks set by the department later.

Conditions and Principles for Applying for Evening Studies:

The student must have obtained the Iraqi preparatory school certificate or its equivalent, endorsed by the Ministry of Education.

The student must not be accepted in another study.

The student must pass the medical examination according to the specific conditions of each study.

Second: General Principles Adopted by the Central Admission System:

A. Adoption of the electronic form for the purpose of applying to private universities and colleges.

B. Adoption of the principle of differentiation by GPA for admission to morning and evening studies.

C. The student has the right to register only four options in the electronic form.

D. The student is accepted according to the options specified in the application form, and submitting the application electronically to the Ministry of Education for admission to private universities and colleges is not binding on his acceptance; it depends on his competition and differentiation with other students.

E. Eight percent of the foreign language score is added to any graduation year and added to the student's total score, not his GPA (as in the example).

F. One point is added to the student's GPA who is among the first successful candidates in the first round for the preparatory school branches (Biology, Applied, Scientific, Literary, Industrial, Commercial, Agricultural, Islamic, Computer Science and Information Technology, Applied Arts, Teachers Institute, Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynecology) and a student on the trial system is deprived of enjoying this advantage.

G. Two points are added to the student's GPA
