The Department of Communications Technology Engineering was established at Imam Jafar Al Sadiq University in 2018. The department aims to provide students with the knowledge needed for a high-quality engineering process that develops creativity with a broad intellectual spectrum by developing their skills in solving technological problems and specializing in advanced communication systems in order to prepare them for branching and competitive courses of action. To achieve this, the department plans to create a professional learning environment for students that enables them to meet the challenges of modern industrial society by providing them with analytical and practical skills to access a cognition enhanced by professional ethics and leadership qualities to overcome challenges in field communications engineering. The Department also aims to advance the spirit of innovation and creativity among faculty members and focus on research that is in line with the advancement of the technological revolution and change with cultural challenges and the association with prestigious educational institutions for academic excellence, developmental excellence, and the development of manpower while supporting research activity with the faculty's pursuit of a program designed to continuously reach to enhance their knowledge of academic leadership as a class and empowerment of students.
