The department aims to be an academic institution specializing in the sciences and issues of the Quran, in addition to contributing to the dissemination of its culture, sciences, and all the values it holds, as well as the ideas and principles it encompasses in social environments. It seeks to take all necessary measures to instill these values in the minds of the members of those communities. The department also seeks to establish knowledge resources that benefit from the Quran and its sciences and knowledge. It also directs its attention to the sciences employed to study the Quran and to clarify its miraculous aspects and uncover its secrets.
