9. Course objectives

The course aims to give the student as much as possible a general survey of the various scientific subjects taught in the History Department

In the English language, it attempts to provide texts on ancient, Islamic and modern history in the English language and thus

The intended benefit is twofold: on the one hand, it provides general information focused on history, and on the other hand

Information in English. In addition, the course also focuses on English grammar and devotes a section to it

There is nothing wrong with its sections such as the present and past simple, present and past continuous, present and past perfect, future and so on.

 

10. Learning outcomes and methods of teaching, learning and evaluation

A- Knowledge and understanding

  A1- Familiarity with the basics of thinking methods in the prescribed curriculum

A2- Being able to translate it into practical performance through identifying and applying the academic and educational dimensions in the process.

Teaching

A3- Preparing the student to benefit from sources and references related to the history of modern Europe

A4- Identify the correct methods for writing scientific research and reports related to the subject

A5- Preparing the student psychologically and intellectually to accept the academic material

A6- Students absorb as much of the prescribed curriculum as possible
