About the Legal Affairs Department

 

The Legal Affairs Department is the legal representative of the University Presidency before the competent courts in every right of the University or on it, by committing to exercise diligent care on the rights of the University, based on the evidence and documents provided by the University Presidency for this Department.

In addition, the Department provides legal advice on every issue presented by the honorable President of the University or the rest of the departments and colleges affiliated with the University, and entering as a legal member in the investigative councils formed against the employee who violates the controls and administrative instructions and indicating the failure and the extent of its severity, with a recommendation to take legal measures according to the violation subject of the council investigative.

The Legal Affairs Department seeks to promote leadership and excellence in legal work by consolidating the values, objectives, principles, rights and legal duties in all University colleges and its various departments, and by strengthening the spirit of law with regard to dealing with University employees and it collaborators.

Mission

It is to spread the culture of commitment to legal values ​​and principles among the University’s employees in accordance with the rules, regulations, instructions and rules followed by the system so that all the work of the University’s employees agree with it and within the framework of its correct application.

 

Objectives:

The Department aims to exert careful care in protecting the rights of the University, and to adopt a preventive approach in solving problems that arise in a consensual negotiated manner, away from engaging in judicial conflicts as much as possible, and to adopt a legal approach to which everyone can refer to the statement of the rights of University workers and the duties assigned to achieve them.
