History

The Media Department is one of the important academic departments at Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq University, established in 2008. It has graduated hundreds of media professionals who have taken up roles in various governmental and private media institutions. Some of them have obtained both master's and doctoral degrees.

The department provides students with theoretical and practical knowledge, accompanied by practical applications in various state institutions. It recognizes the numerous challenges and competition it faces and seeks to maintain its status and leadership in education, scientific research, and community service in the coming years. It aims to develop programs that equip students with the necessary skills to meet the demands of the job market.

Undoubtedly, genuine democratic transformation in supporting media agencies and institutions within state circles and the broader society solidifies the citizen's sense of being a true partner with the state in the required transformation.
