Public Relations and Media

The Department of Media and Public Relations at the University of Imam Jafar Al-Sadiq (p) is linked to the University’s Presidency, and it is the link channel between the University and the external environment. It is considered one of the most important departments in it because of its permanent presence and an active role in the transfer of scientific activities, cultural programs, and various artistic events.

The Department consists of specialized administrative and technical units that work as one coordinated team in covering activities, marketing advertisements, and publishing media material in various available means.

One of the most important media outlets at the University is (Al-Hamd Radio), which is an academic radio, broadcasting on the frequency 97.3 FM.

This radio station looks forward, through its programs, to create content related to the community, touching the concerns and aspirations of youth, and encouraging and supporting energies and talents through their dissemination and identification. It also emphasizes in its programs the unity of society, and the rejection of discrimination and intolerance.

 

The social media platforms unit in the Media Department works to serve as a bridge extending from the University community to the spacious external environment. The percentage of views and interaction around the content it publishes indicates its high level, and its tone that distinguishes it from the rest of the channels.

The Department publishes a quarterly magazine called (University Horizons), which is a comprehensive magazine concerned with all scientific, intellectual and cultural activities at the University. It also publishes student activities and their creative participation in literature, poetry and the arts. The magazine looks forward to raise all levels, in order to create an educational environment that serves the community and its development.
