The World Rankings Division Creation:

The world rankings division has been created within the formations of Imam Ja'afar Al-Sadiq University in 2021-2022. The world rankings division is administratively linked to the president of the university. The division assumed the responsibility of providing foreign agencies specialized in international rankings with the necessary information to include Imam Ja'afar Al-Sadiq University within the internationally and regionally approved academic rankings.

The world rankings division has worked since the moment of its creation to build a distinguished database in coordination with all the scientific and administrative formations at the university and under the direct supervision of the President of the University to contribute to the entry of the most important international rankings, such as Shanghai and Times Higher Education World University Rankings.

The Vision:

The world rankings division is responsible for adopting a strategy aimed at spreading the name of Imam Ja'afar Al-Sadiq University within academic and research forums in line with international and regional standards by adopting a realistic analysis of the scientific and research production of all the branches of the university. It is also working to provide standards aimed at achieving the university’s plan within the sustainable development program.

The Aims and Objectives:

1. Informing the authorities responsible for each international classification, studying the requirements of each classification, and providing the university’s information necessary to enter the classification.
2. Collecting information from all university formations and branches and preparing databases to suit each international classification.
3. Developing long-term strategies to raise the quality of academic research.
4. Analyzing the entry requirements for each classification and identifying key areas that need to be enhanced and taken care of in the university's objectives.
5. Preparing guidance and counseling programs for sustainable development goals.
6. Enhancing the scientific and academic reputation of the university globally through electronic programs or publications and brochures.
